Field Trips
Spring Field Trip: “BARNS, BUGS AND BLOSSOMS”
This one hour program introduces your students to life on the farm, focusing on animals, bugs, and planting. Your students will discover the variety of animals that live on our farm, learn the differences and similarities among the animals and the role they each play. Students will be guided through an exploration of the smallest creatures – the various bugs and insects with particular focus on honeybees and their importance in pollination. The program closes with a discussion of seeds, planting, and germination, with each student planting a sunflower to take home. The Spring field trip is $10 per child with a minimum of 10 students or $100. All parents/adults are $2 per person. Add a tractor ride to your field trip for just $100. Maximum of 25 riders per tractor.

Fall Field Trip: “All About Apples”
Learn some fun facts about apples, see how they are washed, graded and stored before going to the market for sale.
Explore the cider press and enjoy a sample here or take one back to school for later!
Apple Field Trips are $10 per child with a minimum of 15 students and include an apple goodie bag to take home. All parents/adults are $2/person. Add a tractor ride to your field trip for just $100. Maximum of 25 riders per tractor. Groups larger than 25 people may require and additional tractor. Field trips are scheduled Monday thru Friday. Tractor rides are weather dependent.

Take A Trip to the Pumpkin Patch!
Perfect for younger kids! Take a tractor ride to our pumpkin patch, take home the perfect pumpkin, and enjoy a special fall story time! Flexible times make this a great program for Moms during the week! Minimum of 15 registered participants. Please plan 1 hour for this field trip.
Pumpkin Field Trips are $10 per child and $2 per accompanying adult. Programs are available for scheduling Monday thru Friday. This field trip is weather dependent.
